Boston, Mass., June 8, 2005 - Homesite Insurance, announced today that it has begun its national rollout of Identity Theft coverage. Homesite's new coverage is now available to customers in Michigan and provides coverage to pay for expenses incurred as a result of identity fraud.
"Homesite understands the importance of personal and financial security and continues to introduce coverages aimed at protecting our customers," said Manny Rios, VP of Underwriting, for Homesite Insurance. "Identity Fraud is one of the fastest growing crimes in the country today, and virtually all of our customer face the risk of exposure, we are extremely pleased that we can provide this optional endorsement to our customers.
Identity Theft is offered as an optional endorsement to Homesite homeowners, condo or renters policyholders for only $35 per year. We understand that it can take numerous hours and thousands of dollars to restore your identity, Homesite introduced this product to enhance our coverage options and to help customers restore their good name and financial reputation. Homesite expects to continue to offer this endorsement in additional states throughout 2005 and 2006.
