RISK MANAGEMENT & INSURANCE INFORMATION
Winter Insurance Checklist The checklist below will help you review your insurance coverage, organize your winterizing tasks, and protect you against problems that may occur during the winter months.
1) Is your home adequately covered? If you have recently completed renovations to your home (for example, adding a sun porch or deck, remodeling a kitchen) or the homes in your neighborhood have increased in value over the past few years, your coverages may not be sufficient. It helps protect against trip cancellation and lost baggage costs, as well as unexpected medical expenses. 7) Do you have adequate liability insurance for your pet? Even the friendliest of animals can accidentally bite someone. Learn more about liability insurance. 8) Do you have kids in college that will be renting an apartment during the winter months?
